Carbon Footprint & Sustainability Statement

Our Commitment

Terreign Clothing is built on a clear principle: reduce environmental impact without compromising quality, durability, or design. Sustainability is not a marketing tool it is embedded into every stage of our operation, from raw materials through to delivery. We prioritise responsible sourcing, low-emission logistics, ethical production, and continuous improvement across all areas of the business.

Materials Innovation – TrEco™ Fabric & Core Impact Reduction

At the core of Terreign Clothing is material innovation. We do not simply use recycled materials we develop them.

TrEco™ Fabric (Exclusive to Terreign)

Our proprietary TrEco™ fabric is a premium blend of: Recycled polyester & Recycled cotton

Used across all fleece garments, TrEco™ represents a significant step forward in combining sustainability with premium quality, durability, and performance.

Environmental Benefits:

  • Significant reduction in carbon emissions vs virgin materials
  • Lower energy consumption in production
  • Reduced landfill waste by repurposing existing materials
  • Decreased reliance on fossil fuel extraction
  • Lower water usage compared to conventional fabrics

All materials used are fully certified, ensuring transparency and supply chain integrity.

Ocean Freight & Carbon Responsibility

Where ocean freight is required, emissions cannot be fully eliminated.

Our Approach:

  • Prioritising sea freight over air freight
  • Offsetting carbon emissions linked to ocean transport
  • Improving supply chain efficiency to reduce impact over time

Low-Emission Transport (Operations)

We operate with a hybrid vehicle as part of our logistics:

  • Reduced fuel consumption
  • Lower operational emissions
  • Transitioning towards fully electric transport

Eco-Conscious Energy Use

Our premises utilise eco-conscious energy sources wherever possible:

  • Reduced reliance on non-renewable energy
  • Lower overall business carbon footprint
  • Alignment with long-term sustainability goals

Sustainable Logistics & Delivery

DHL GoGreen Fuel Programme

We partner with DHL using their GoGreen Fuel service, a carbon-neutral alternative fuel solution.

Impact:

  • Reduced greenhouse gas emissions across deliveries
  • Lower reliance on traditional fossil fuels
  • Fully managed through a recognised sustainability programme

Waste Management & Recycling

We operate a zero-waste mindset across all operations.

Practices:

All packaging is collected and recycled through a local recycling centre to ensure full lifecycle accountability, with waste carefully sorted and processed to maximise recycling efficiency. We use minimal excess packaging across all orders and continuously review our materials and processes to further reduce environmental impact.

Impact:

This approach minimises landfill waste, supports local recycling infrastructure, and ensures responsible end-of-life handling of all materials.

Plastic-Free Packaging & Fulfilment

Terreign Clothing operates a strict no-plastic packaging policy across all fulfilment processes. Every order is shipped in a single FSC-approved cardboard box (Forest Stewardship Council), includes a recycled paper thank-you card, and is sealed using eco-friendly, recyclable branded tape. No plastic is used at any stage of packaging or delivery, ensuring a more responsible and environmentally conscious fulfilment standard.

Ethical Manufacturing & Fair Pay

Sustainability is both environmental and social.

Our Standards:

  • All partner factories pay above local living wage standards
  • Ethical working conditions are expected across all suppliers
  • We work with partners aligned to our values of fairness and responsibility

UK Operations

  • All garments are printed, finished, and quality-checked in the United Kingdom
  • Our UK team is paid above living wage standards
  • Final production stages are controlled in-house to ensure quality and accountability

Brand Ethos – Going Beyond Compliance

Terreign Clothing is not following industry standards we are pushing beyond them.

What Sets Us Apart:

  • 100% recycled materials across all products
  • Development of proprietary fabric (TrEco™
  • Carbon reduction through logistics and operations
  • Plastic-free packaging
